‘What a magnificent place! On arrival the comfort and luxury is evident. It’s only when you look at the photos around the walls you realise what a massive vision this has been. Many thanks to Ann and Andrew for the warmest of welcomes. The sympathetically renovated building sits comfortably next to the church and stream, seemingly untouched by the passing of 650 or so years. However, it has been touched! The beautiful new interior is complemented by a wonderfully appointed kitchen, a thoughtful and extensive collection of reading matter including local maps, best beds, comfortable sofas and logs for the wood burner, and a sumptuous hamper and fridge of (mostly) local treats. We have so enjoyed our days here. A fantastic place to welcome in the new decade. Many thanks and best of luck for many happy years of welcoming lucky guests to the Pele Tower.’

The Pele Tower is located in The Yorkshire Dales National park between Kirkby Lonsdale & Sedbergh. This fabulous restored fortified house is in a private location, on the western side of the idyllic Lune valley with great views.
The Pele Tower (pronounced ‘Peel’) at Killington Hall is a 14th century structure. It is a pre-reformation tower, designed to repel the Border Rievers.
Thankfully now in more peaceful times, your hosts Ann and Andy welcome you to stay and enjoy the tranquil setting and relax in the tower.
