Killington Parish is on the western fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, following the bank of the River Lune as it flows towards Kirkby Lonsdale,

The parish covers some 8 eight square miles, and consists of 97 houses and farms including the village of Killington and several other smaller hamlets and clusters of properties.

There are many things to do, here are a few of our suggestions:

• Walking in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District National Park
• Cycling – both road and off-road in Cumbria and Yorkshire
• Towns to visit – Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale, and Kendal.
